Why do I write?

I write because I love writing. I am not denying the fact that there are some awesome writers out there but this is my way of penning down my thoughts and writing stories. I have received criticism. But criticisms are good right? I have also received appreciations, and feedback and I am thankful to those who have appreciated me and have given healthy feedback.

I write because it’s the best way to communicate my stories to a wider audience. Writing and blogging is my best bet in communicating my stories.

I write because it helps me focus and concentrate. Whilst am writing my stories, I am helping my brain in recollecting my best and not so best moments.

I write because I want to tell the world some of the amazing stuff I have done in my life. And to let everyone know that I am a person who defines her own story (I don’t let my life to be decided by destiny – having said that yes I agree that somethings are not in my control).

I write because honestly there are very few people out there who have the time and patience to listen. Even if those few people have the time and patience, they lack the understanding. I am a person who talks – a lot. And by writing I am talking my mind. I don’t need a second person to listen to me.

I write because I want to register my exciting travel moments. I don’t want to accept the fact that as I grow older, I won’t remember some of the best things I did when I was young. I want my kids and their kids to read and appreciate how awesome I was 😀 .

Good for you. Keep writing, recording and enjoying those moments. Life’s too short not to.

Ah I think exactly the same thing! Every time I wonder why I blog I think that one day my kids could read it and get a glimpse into my life which wouldn’t be as accessible to previous generations! Sweet post 🙂
