Greece – Our itinerary

Who does not want to go to Greece? The white and blue buildings and the beautiful picturesque  landscapes are something to die for. Greece is definitely on our list of countries we (my friend Akshata and I) wish to visit as part of our 2018 sabbatical.

After a lot of discussions and research, we have drafted an itinerary to explore Greece. Akshata will write a post on the estimated expenses.

Day 1: Arrive in Athens

Athens is the capital city of Greece. It is one of the World’s oldest city with its recorded history spanning around 3,400 years.

Day 2 to Day 4: Explore Athens

Day 5 & Day 6: Athens to Delphi

Delphi is located in upper central Greece, on multiple plateaux/terraces along the slope of Mount Parnassus.

Day 7: Flight from Athens to Santorini

Santorini is an island in the southern Aegean Sea. It is the remains after an enormous volcanic eruption.

Day 8 to Day 11: Explore Santorini
