One of my resolutions for this year is to walk and hike more. The Spit bridge to manly coastal walk was the first walk I did this year. This Sydney coastal walk is a great way to explore the beautiful panoramic landscapes of the harbour and bush lands. The views are spectacular and provides great opportunities to take photographs. The walk also comes across few aboriginal rock carvings.
Logistics of the walk:
Distance: 11 kilometres; well marked coastal walk
Time: ~5 hours
Grade: Easy level
- Getting to Spit Bridge – There is a bus from the city to Spit Bridge
- Getting from Manly – There is a ferry and a bus from Manly to the city
