Photo Diary: Hampi

Hampi, also known as Hampe, is an ancient town in the northern part of Karnataka, in India. It is the former capital of Vijayanagara Empire. The town is a home for numerous ruined temples and buildings. It plays a very important role in the history of India and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site.
