A spectacular coastal walk in the suburb of La Perouse in Sydney is the Henry’s Head and the Cape Banks Walks. La Perouse is around 14 kilometres from Sydney CBD. The Cape Banks walk is an extension to the Henry’s Head walk. The walk is an easy walk offering great views of the ocean and is a good spot for whale watching (even though I did not see a single whale). One can view the World War II bunkers and a fort at Henry Head.
This was the last weekend walk before the actual weekend of The Bloody Long Walk.
Note: Be prepared to see lots of reptiles on the way.
