Hikes & Walks in Muogamarra National Park

Muogamarra Nature Reserve is a protected nature reserve, located in the northern part of Sydney. This reserve is home for many wild flowers. The access to this reserve is limited only for 6 weeks in a year. It lies about 40 kilometers from Sydney and is on the southern side of Hawkesbury River.

Public transport

Muogamarra Nature Reserve lies in Cowan suburb. The nearest train station is Cowan station and the entrance is about 3 kilometres from the station. More details and up-to-date information can be found on NSW Transport website.


Entry Fee

The park is open to public only for 6 annual weekends during spring. The nature reserve has an entry fee of AUD 15 per person. Note: The entry fee has to be paid by cash only.
