Fiji, which is also popularly known as the Soft coral of the World, is an island country in the South Pacific Ocean. It has more than 330 islands out of which 110 islands are permanently inhabited. Suva is the capital of Fiji.

    • Basic Greetings in Fijian: Bula (Hello), Kerekere (Please) 
  • Currency: Fijian dollar
    • Forex Exchange: Currency can be exchanged at any international airports

New Caledonia, also known as Nouvelle-Caledonie in French, is a special collectivity island belonging to France. France visa is required to visit this island.

  • Main language spoken: French
  • Basic Greetings: Bonjour (Hello), Merci (Thank you), S’il te plait (Please)
  • Currency: CFP Franc
    • Forex Exchange: Currency can be exchanged at any international airports
  • Tourist visa: Visa is required to enter New Caledonia (latest information can be found on New Caledonia Immigration website)
  • Best time to visit: September to December
  • Adapter required (power points): Type F
  • Driving licence: International unexpired valid driving licence is required

Vanuatu, is one of the most beautiful and friendly island countries I have visited. It is in the South Pacific Ocean. It was first inhabited by Melanesian people.
