What is Salar de Uyuni and how was it formed?
Salar de Uyuni a.k.a Salt Lake is World’s largest salt lake. The salt lake spreads across 10,000 square kilometres (approximately). It was formed as a result of transformations between several prehistoric lakes. Even though the Salt Flats do not have much of wildlife, it does have the pink flamingos.
How do we get there?
Uyuni is the gateway to the Salt Flats Lake. Uyuni is a small town but has its own airport.
- There are frequent flights between Uyuni and La Paz. I went with LAN Airlines.

My experience
It was super fun clicking some awesome fun pictures. My friend Vijay and I shopped for toys at Uyuni local markets. We took them along and we had such great fun. And guess what? I had a chance to fight with my favourite super hero – Hulk.
