How to Get to Babeki?

The most convenient way to travel from Kullu to Babeli is by bus. In Kullu, there’s a bus depot where travellers can engage with locals to board any bus heading to Babeli. Payment for the fare should be made in cash in Indian rupees, and it’s advisable to have the exact change.

An overnight bus journey is a viable option to reach Kullu from Delhi. Tickets for the Kullu to Delhi bus can be conveniently booked on the Redbus website, and the fare is paid online.

Delhi is a central hub with extensive connectivity for those travelling from other parts of India. The Delhi airport operates flights to major cities like Bangalore, and flight tickets can be purchased through the MakeMyTrip website.

If budget considerations are a priority, opting for a train journey to Delhi is a suitable alternative. Booking for trains can be done on the IRCTC website.

Days 2 and 3 – Acclimatisation

Participate in a brief guided trek amidst the pine trees enveloping the hostel at the base camp. This crucial acclimatisation activity allows trekkers to adjust to the altitude. During this trek, an orientation will be provided, covering all essential safety aspects.

The acclimatization trek is not to be skipped; it plays a vital role in preparing for the trek. Acclimatising correctly is crucial for a successful and enjoyable experience on this journey!
