I have been to Fiji multiple times. The first time, I visited Fiji with my mother and I had decided to stay on the main island for 4 days. As I mentioned above, Fiji has a range of stay options. There are many island resorts that are perfect when you visit with families and want to just relax on those islands. There are also resorts and hotels on the main island that are closer to the local areas and attractions of Fiji, such as Viseisei.

Note: The only drawback is that you need to pay for everything, including the Wi-Fi and pickup/drop on the island.

If you are staying in another property, you can still visit the island for a day to see and experience the unique cultural activities at additional cost.
One of the most beautiful experiences I had at the resort was the boat ride from Suva to the resort at night under the Milky Way.
