The flight journey from New Delhi (India) to Buenos Aires (Argentina) was quite long and I had a transit stop at Sao Paulo. I needed a good rest and that is when I found the TRYP Hotel by Wyndham at Sao Paulo International Airport.

Also known as TRYP Hotel Sao Paulo Airport, the hotel is part of the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts group. It is a 4-star hotel located in the Sao Paulo International Airport. Offering a range of amenities and services designed to cater to the needs of both transit passengers and travelers, TRYP Hotel stands out due to its convenient location.

Location and Accessibility

Situated in the vicinity of Sao Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport (GRU), you will find this transit gem TRYP Hotel by Wyndham. Right below Terminal 3, the hotel is practically within walking distance of the airport terminals. It a superb choice for travelers, especially solo travelers, who prefer not to venture far during their layovers or late-night arrivals.

Accommodation and Room Options

The rooms are laid-back and small with wooden floors. Each of the room comes with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen television playing various channels, and a study desk. The hotel also has family rooms and they have bunk beds, and sleep up to 4 guests.

They also offer various packages from 3, 6, 9 and 24 hours. If you talk to the reception, then they may add additional couple of hours for free. I took the 9 hours package at Standard room but in turn received 11 hours stay.

The rooms and the corridors are very quiet, ideal for a good night sleep after your long flight journey. Note that most of the rooms do not have windows. If you need a room, it is better to inform the reception staff prior so they can arrange for a room with a window.

Restaurant and Food

There is a small restaurant that offers buffet food and drinks. The breakfast, which is part of your reservation cost, is served in an informal, contemporary restaurant. Even though not too elaborate, the food was quite decent.

Lunch and dinner are an additional charge and had different spread. I did not have lunch or dinner at the hotel but I did try their breakfast and the food was delicious even though basic.

Facilities and Amenities

Even though the hotel is part of the international airport, it still provides a number of facilities and amenities it its guests. With lounges to chill and meet other travelers, a dedicated smoking area and umbrella-shaded seating in an interior courtyard garden, the hotel has cool vibes to it.

For fitness enthusiasts, there are fitness and wellness amenities, including a gym, within the hotel. They also provide a complimentary shuttle service to and from Guarulhos International Airport.

Business and Event Facilities

The hotel is perfect for the business travelers too. There are certain facilities to the business travelers that includes the meeting rooms and event spaces. They are perfect for corporate meetings.

• Carry an extra fresh pair of clothes – If you are transiting through Sao Paulo airport, then ensure to carry a fresh pair of clothes, including the undergarments and socks, so you can freshen up for your next flight.

Safety for Solo Female Traveling

The hotel is absolutely safe for solo female traveling. The staff at the hotel are friendly and they have female staff members too. You do not have to worry about anything after check-in. And the entire process after check-in to check-out is handled by yourself. The only time you may have the interaction with others is during the room service.
